Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction October 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/9/2016
Dickie Moore spent a dozen memorable seasons in a Habs uniform, winning an amazing six Stanley Cups along the way. Moore’s number #12 was officially retired by Les Canadiens on Nov 12th 2005, and he has signed this impressive banner in silver-coloured sharpie that features his “12” front and center along with the years he was active, 1951-63. He’s also hand-written the date of his jersey retirement ceremony. At approx. 20 ½” x 48 ½”, the solid red two-sided banner displays beautifully, with just a single fold line in the lower section from the material “bunching up”. With absolutely no issues to note regarding the signature, an LOA from Classic Auctions will accompany.
