The envy of young Canadian hockey players and eye candy for the fairer sex, Derek Sanderson was no stranger to receiving attention during his noteworthy career, with his likeness wonderfully captured in this offered original framed painting that hails from his personal collection, executed by noted award-winning artist Mary Waters Jacobs. At approx 16” x 22”, the star is expertly depicted in his Bruins uniform, with the artist signing near the base and adding the Stanley Cup-championship year of “1972”. Matted and framed to full dimensions of approx 24” x 30”, the artist’s business card is affixed to the reverse, with wear to the frame to mention. A signed LOA from Derek Sanderson will accompany.
