Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Fall 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 9/20/2022
The newly formed Ottawa Senators were off and running with the drop of the puck on the 1992-93 NHL season and brought pro hockey back to Canada’s capital city. Hailing from that first season is this road jersey that was donned by Dave Archibald. Made by CCM and a size “52”, the front of the jersey has been stylized with the Senators crest and is flanked on the right breast by the Stanley Cup Centennial patch. The sleeves and verso feature Archibald’s number “15” in dual layer tackle twill while “Archibald” is spelt out across an affixed nameplate in white twill letters on the back. The shoulders feature the Senators alternate logo while the reverse hem is decorated by embroidered CCM and NHL shield logos. Game wear on the jersey is exhibited throughout in the form of stick marks, board burns, paint transfers and team repairs while the interior features pilling at the elbows and in the nameplate area which also has a pair of team repairs. A COA from the Senators will accompany the piece.
