A three-time Olympic medalist, Darius Kasparaitis spent parts of 14 seasons in the NHL, with the bulk of his time skating for the Pittsburgh Penguins and New York Islanders. From his fourth and final season in The Big Apple, we have a photo-matched New York Rangers jersey worn by the Russian star in 2006-07, his last season in the NHL. A label with “56” sizing graces the collar, with embroidered NHL and Reebok crests on the bottom hem and reverse necklines respectively. Styled with “Rangers” placed diagonally across the chest in blue-over-red drop-shadow tackle twill, “6” appears over the sleeves and verso in matching material, with “Kasparaitis" ” across the upper reverse. The jersey shows nice game-use with numerous dark marks to the front and sleeves. Getty Image #73078006 (Jan 2, 2007) has been matched to the dark mark on the front left shoulder, with particularities to the threading on the letters of the team crest also matching. A patch from MeiGray numbered “D11392” resides on the inside hem, and according to their population report, the jersey is a "White Set 2" specimen. An LOA will accompany.
