This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/28/2023
A product of the Belleville Bulls in the Ontario Hockey League who was selected 13th overall by the Calgary Flames at the 1983 NHL Entry Draft, Dan Quinn would go on to play a total of 805 National Hockey Leagues games over the course of 14-years in the league with eight (8) different teams from 1983 to 1996. Already experienced with Swiss hockey from the year before as a member of SC Bern, offered here is this jersey worn by Quinn as a member of EV Zug when he played with the team during the 1994-95 NHL Lockout. Featuring no branding but showcasing a size "XXXL" fly tag affixed to the inner collar, logos for Avia are found under the collar on the front as well as in the collar itself. A lightweight all-mesh construction garment with everything sublimated into the material itself, a large EVZ logo is found over the front while the sleeves and verso feature Quinn's number "24" in blue numbers on top of a white square. Having had "Quinn" screened above the reverse hem of the jersey in black, the rest of the jersey, heavily decorated with various sponsorships, includes the logos of company's such as Ford, Vonplon and Veriset of Switzerland. Exhibiting good game-wear for having been worn in just a handful of games, board burns are found over the lower front, reverse and both sleeves of the jersey with an unrepaired hole and a stick mark present on the left sleeve as well. Additionally, stick marks are also observed over the lower reverse. Originally hailing from Quinn's personal collection, don't miss out on this piece of Euro hockey goodness!
