Enjoying a 13-year National Hockey League career after going undrafted, Dan Girardi spent 11 seasons in the uniform of the New York Rangers, playing all but 139 of his 927 games played in the NHL with the Blueshirts. Presented here, is this jersey worn by the longtime Ranger during the franchise’s 2007-08 season. The White Set 1 game-worn jersey is made by Reebok and sports a single size “58” label affixed to the inner collar, crests for the NHL and Reebok are found over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Decorated over the front of the tie-neck garment with the familiar “Rangers” diagonally down the chest in blue-over-red drop-shadow tackle twill letters. The sleeves and verso of the jersey have been accented with Girardi’s number “46” in matching style while “Girardi” has been spelt out across the affixed matching arched nameplate across the top of the back. A light stick mark is visible on the front of the jersey. Affixed on the inside reverse hem is a MeiGray tag numbered “E02954” and a matching LOA will accompany the piece.
