The first NHL All-Star Game to take place in Minnesota since 1972, the 2004 installment of the popular NHL showcase took place in St. Paul, with the Western Conference battling the Eastern in front of just under 20,000 jubilant fans. Despite a 6-4 victory for the Eastern Conference, Joe Sakic of the Western team garned MVP honours, scoring a hatrick in the contest. This Western Conference jersey was worn by defenceman Chris Pronger during the second period, and it’s been signed. Size tagging is affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and NHLPA crests on the back bottom hem. “Western” appears in textured letters placed diagonally across the chest, with an NHL shield crest residing above the left breast. Accented with tackle twill numbers and name-on-nameplate, the tie-neck garment also sports 10 felt stars, split evenly between the front and back lower band. The important 2004 All-Star Game patch is situated over the right shoulder, while a Blues team crest is situated over the left. With no discernible wear present, the jersey remains in gorgeous condition. Pronger has added an exemplary signature to the top of the back “2”, and it is flawless. A MeiGray patch numbered B11785 sits on the inside hem, and according to their population report, the jersey is a "Worn During The 2nd Period - Retained By The NHLPA / Western Conference All-Star" example. An LOA from the NHLPA will accompany.
