Voted an NHL First All-Star Team member an impressive five times, Chris Chelios is also a three-time James Norris winner, with the Chicago native best known for his unbelievable longevity, witnessing parts of an unheard of 26 seasons of high caliber NHL hockey. We have a Black Hawks captain’s jersey worn by the HOFer in 1996-97, his third-last season in The Windy City, where he scored 48 points in just 72 games. A Center Ice label along with a “54” Nike size swatch grace the collar, with embroidered NHL and Nike crests over the reverse bottom hem. Styled with the famous multi-coloured Indian head Black Hawks team crest with chain-stitched detailing, the air-knit V-neck has been accented with oversized white tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers with black trim, with gorgeous matching chain-stitched tomahawk crests over each shoulder. Hailing from his personal collection, a signed LOA from Chris Chelios will accompany.
A few stick and puck marks are visible along with faint board burns over each sleeve, with light pilling over the intact fight strap. Chelios had his best offensive season with Chicago in 1992-93, scoring 73 points in 84 games, especially impressive for a defenceman.
