Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/18/2019
The season that saw Jonathan Toews first wear the captain’s “C”, the Chicago Black Hawks would finish 2nd in the Central Division in 2008-09, with the club advancing to the Western Conference Finals where they were defeated by the Detroit Red Wings. From that very season, we have a goal mask signed by the 2008-09 Black Hawks squad. A Franklin GFM1000 model with an Indian headdress motif and a team emblem over the chin section, 22 have signed in silver paint pen, including Toews, Fraser, Keith, Sharp, Byfuglien, Wisniewski, Huet, Burish, Adams, Khabibulin and others. The signatures display beautifully, with a few smudged from handling. A hologram from CSI has been affixed near the forehead, with a COA to accompany. A 14” x 11” x 12” (the base extends, and there’s scratches to the glass) plexiglass display case with a small plaque affixed to the front is also included.
