Currently serving as general manager of the San Jose Sharks, Doug Wilson was a first round draft choice in both the NHL and WHA in 1977, the Ottawa native also holds the Chicago franchise record for career goals and points. We have a vintage signed Black Hawks jersey that was worn by the James Norris winner in 1982-83, a season that witnessed 69 points in 74 games. A pair of washed-out tags grace the collar along with a label from River Forest supplier Gunzo’s, with rubberized and worn Sandow SK and Gunzo’s crests over the reverse bottom hem. Styled with an absolutely gorgeous multi-coloured Indian head team crest with chain-stitched detailing, the red V-neck sweater has been accented with white tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers with black trim, with matching chain-stitched tomahawk crests over each shoulder. Wilson has added a flowing blue marker signature within the top section of the reverse “2”, and it displays well with very minimal bleeding.
Measuring-out to roughly a size 52, a loop-style fight strap has been utilized on the sweater. Game-wear includes a number of marks over the lower front, with burns over each sleeve. There is also a fairly large team repair over the right elbow, with pilling throughout the interior.
