Considered to be one of the best goaltenders in the world, Carey Price has the resume to back it up including gold with Team Canada at the World Juniors, the Olympic Games, and the World Hockey Championship. Taken 5th overall in the 2005 NHL Draft by the famous bleu, blanc, et rouge, Price has turned in incredible performance after incredible performance culminating in 2015 with awards such as the Hart Trophy, Vezina Trophy, and Jennings Trophy. Offered here is a pair of pads worn by Price during the 2016-17 season with the Montreal Canadiens. Presenting fabulously with good game wear present, Price has signed the upper portion of the left pad in bold black Sharpie marker. Game wear found on these pillows includes puck marks throughout, minor post paint transfer on the nylon on the outside of each pad, and a small skate cut on the top knee roll of each pad. “Price” is embroidered on the outside of each pads boot, with “7-15” handwritten near “Price” on the left pad. All straps and buckles are present with no flaws found in or on the backside leg channel, with Kay Whitmore initialing the underside of the left pad in his roll as acting goaltending supervisor of the NHL. The pads are photo-matched to the included signed 8" x 10" photo. Getty Image #624977638 (November 19, 2016 vs Toronto) has been matched to puck marks found on the right pad, particularly the example that runs through the top portion of the “CCM” on the outside leg roll. A COA for the signature will accompany from the Montreal Canadiens.
