The only Olympic gold medal won throughout his career, Carey Price backstopped Canada to victory in Sochi in 2014, winning each of his five games while also being named the Best Goaltender at the tournament by the IIHF. From the 2013-14 NHL season, we have photo-matched pads worn by the superstar. CCM Extreme Flex models in Habs colours, “Price” is embroidered along the bottom outside section of each pad, with the pair sporting moderate game-use, including numerous puck marks to each pad. There is also Canadiens’ holograms affixed to each pad. Getty Image #187179545 (Nov 1, 2013) has been matched to the “9-30” handwritten beneath the embroidered “Price” on the left pad, with the mark over the lower portion of the white “C” of “CCM” also visible, while Getty Image #467430975 (Feb 6, 2014) has been matched to a number of identical marks on the right pad, and Getty Image #481873663 (March 18, 2014) has been matched to a number of marks over the white “CCM” lettering on the right pad. Additionally, two 8” x 10” photos are also included, with a number of marks on both pads matching in each image.
