Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/18/2019
Joining an elite club with only the best of the best as members, Bryan Trottier earned his only Art Ross Trophy after an amazing season in 1978-79 that witnessed the HOFer secure his career-high 134 points, with the Hart Memorial also won along with NHL First All-Star Team selection. The Art Ross plaque awarded to Trottier sports a silver miniature of the trophy rising from the center, surrounded by the NHL shield with mounted pairs of silver sticks and black enameled pucks. The silver plate below reads "The Art Ross Trophy Winner - 1978-79 – Bryan Trottier – New York Islanders”. Measuring approximately 10" x 12", the plaque exhibits just light wear to the mounted components including faint spotting to the engraved metal plate, with just light additional wear to the wooden base itself. Originating from Trottier’s personal collection, an LOA from the family will accompany.
