Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2019

Registering an impressive 123 points throughout 77 regular season games and enough to led the team, Bryan Trottier would receive his first of two-consecutive NHL First All-Star Team selections in 1977-78, with the New York Islanders finishing atop the Patrick Division. Awarded for New York’s status as Campbell Conference regular season champions, we have Trottier’s Clarence Campbell championship trophy. At 11” in height, the silver-plated handled cup with removable lid and chased detailing sits atop a hexagon-shaped 3-inch wooden base and is engraved “New York Islanders – 1977-78 – Bryan Trottier” on one side, with the name of the trophy and its "1968" year of inception on the other. Originating from Trottier’s personal collection, an LOA from the family will accompany.
There are small areas of wear and surface loss throughout, most prominently to the lid’s rim and finial, with additional wear inside the bowl. The wooden base also exhibits wear, with some minor spotting along the bottom portion.
