Registering a season that included a total of 15 goals and 19 assists for 34 points in only 57 games played, Brian Skrudland would be selected to the lone All-Star Game of his career in the 1990-91 season but would not play due to a broken foot. Hosted by the Chicago Blackhawks at the "Madhouse on Madison" on January 19th, 1991, offered here is this Wales Conference jersey meant to be worn by Skrudland during the mid-season contest. Made by CCM and sporting a lone Maska Air-Knit tag affixed to the inner collar that displays a handwritten size "50" designation in blue ballpoint pen, both the CCM and NHL shield logos have been embroidered into the jersey's reverse hem. Decorated over the front with an oversized NHL shield crest in layered tackle twill, the alternate captain's "A" has been added over the left breast while white tackle twill stars have been added over the waist on both the front and reverse. Accented over the left shoulder with an alternate logo patch, the right shoulder sports the all-important 1991 NHL All-Star Game event crest. Having had Skrudland's number "39" sewn to the sleeves and verso in dual layer tackle twill numerals and "Skrudland" spelt out in single layer white twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate across the top of the back, the jersey, having never been worn during play, shows no flaws or signs of use and remains in fantastic condition though does have some light evidence of having been washed. Hailing from his personal collection, an LOA signed by Skrudland will accompany the piece.
