Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2017

With the term “sniper” practically invented for Brett Hull, it was arguably his father who was one of the first known to have an absolutely thundering shot. Brett’s time in the NHL was spent in a few different cities, with St Louis being his main home for the majority of his career. We have a pair of items from Hull’s time in The Gateway City during the 1990s, with a signed pair of game-worn Easton GX1350 gloves in Blues’ colours from the latter part of the decade, along with a signed Easton Z Bubble model stick used circa 1993-94.
The gloves have “Jan 94” handwritten in marker within the interior of the right glove, with tape also utilized around the lacing, with this trait visible on other Hull gloves. Each shows nice use, with some rubbing to the leather, along with a hole within the reinforced leather along the palm (the surface material beneath has not been breached, with the hole not continuing through) of the left glove. Hull has signed each across the back section in gold, with one signature smudged and both somewhat hard to make out. The stick features “Hull Custom 80” factory graphics over the upper shaft, with the original tape over the handle and knob intact. The tape has been removed from the blade so that Brett could add a huge and flowing blue marker signature across the front side of the blade. With just light use exhibited, the stick remains in excellent condition, with some minor green staining to the tape-covered knob.
