Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2018

Wonderful wine-colored CCM gloves worn by prolific goal-scorer Brett Hull during his final NHL season with the Phoenix Coyotes in 2005-06. The short-cuff style, each with “16” in black marker at the wrist, matches those worn in action photos of Hull during his five-game stint early in the schedule. Good game wear in both palms with stick marks and slashes on the outer rolls. Also, a pair of game-used sticks from earlier in Hull’s career, a gold Easton aluminum 4900 and a Louisville TPS gold. Both have Brett’s distinctive handle tape job finished off in gauze wrap and each has an autographed wood blade inserted at the business end. The Easton does not show much use but the TPS has marks up the shaft and dings in the blade tape.
Brett’s Easton has an untapped Christian blade stamped “HULL” and “BLUES” and sports a large blue signature. The wood blade inserted into the Louisville stick is stamped “16” and Brett has signed this TPS gamer above where the black cloth tape job across the blade begins. This one dates to the mid-1990s when Brett was a member of the St. Louis Blues.
