Exceeding the improbable and rarely-reached career plateau while playing in his milestone 900th game, Brett Hull joined the elite and utterly exclusive class of NHL superstars to have scored over 600 goals during the 1999-00 season with Dallas. The paramount marker would be joined that contest by his 601st, both netted against Guy Hebert and the Anaheim Mighty Ducks, on Dec 31, 1999. These signed skates have been attributed to Hull’s 600th NHL career goal. Bauer Supreme 7000 models with Tuuk Custom+ blade holders, each skate has intact laces, with “16A” and “600 12-31-99” handwritten in marker to the underside of each boot. Hull has signed each over the ankle guard in silver, adding “600 Goal Skates”. Brett Hull's signed LOA will accompany along with a second LOA from Dave Smith, the Dallas Stars equipment manager. A third LOA will also be included.
The pair shows nice game-use, with rubbing to the leather in spots along with cuts to the toe sections. The blades and holders also show marks and wear. Impressively, Brett Hull was the third quickest player in history to reach 600 behind just Wayne Gretzky and Mario Lemieux.
