The great Brett Hull would enjoy 10+ star-studded years with the St. Louis Blues beginning in 1988, and it was his final season with the Blues, 1997-98, that he wore the alternate captain’s jersey offered here. Tagged in the collar as a “Starter”, with a size “52-R” (and handwritten “16” and “L”) patch below, this white mesh gamer, with the “A” sewn on the left breast, shows a scattering of marks on the front and sleeves, while on the inside, the fight strap has been cut, and somewhat faded “Custom Crafted” and “St. Louis Blues 1st. Set 1997-98 Season” stamps are on the inside hem. Hull, with a remarkable knack for finding the back of the net, would finish his career in 2005-06 with the Phoenix Coyotes, with an extraordinary 741 goals on his resume. Inducted into the HOF in 2009, he would join his father Bobby, who was previously inducted in 1983. A big time gamer from a big time player, and comes with an LOA from Brett.
