The Hockey News honored Brett Hull with 2 plaques in 1990-91 for “Player of the Year” and All-Star Team selection, and it’s certainly no surprise that they were presented. This is a fellow who in 1990-91 would rack up a stunning 86 goals and 45 assists, with his 131 points being the highest the sniper would attain during his incredible 1269 game career. The “Player of the Year” plaque features Brett’s image on medal attached to the inch-thick wood, while his identical size All-Star Team plaque also lists fellow All-Stars Belfour, Bourque, MacInnis, Gretzky, and Robitaille. Both plaques remain in outstanding condition with just a tiny touch of green paint and a small mark on the wood of the “Player of the Year” example, while the All-Star plaque shows small, almost invisible surface scratches. Brett would tally an amazing 741 goals and 650 assists during his career, with his 741 goals placing him third all time behind Gretzky and Howe.
