Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/4/2014
A huge milestone for Brett Hull was when he notched his 100th NHL goal, which he would do in Toronto on December 18th, 1989 vs. the Maple Leafs, on his way to 72 markers that season and an overall magnificent 741 when the curtain closed on his HOF career in 2005-06. The puck that beat Leaf’s goaltender Allan Bester for the big 100 is offered here, with the Leafs logo on one side and white trainer’s tape covering much of the reverse, with handwritten in black as “100th, Dec. 18/89, Bester”. This InGlasCo gamer remains in beautiful condition with just faint scuffing, and is truly an historic milestone puck from Mr. Hull’s brilliant career which ultimately saw him inducted into the HOF in 2009. Very cool indeed, and comes with an LOA signed by Brett.
