The original American NHL franchise, the Boston Bruins were first granted admission to the world’s fastest league at the behest of grocery giant Charles Adams, with the club’s inaugural team colours of brown and gold borrowed from his chain of First National Stores. Art Ross would guide the club for over three decades, with some of the greAstest players in history donning the iconic spoked-B, including Eddie Shore, Tiny Thompson, Bobby Orr, Ray Bourque and many others.
