Legendary Swedish defenceman Borje Salming wore this blazer when he became the first European-trained player to be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame. Known to his legion of Toronto Maple Leafs fans as both the King and B.J., Salming wore this single-breasted pure virgin wool navy blue blazer when he entered the Hall along with legendary New York Islanders coach Al Arbour and Boston Bruins great Bobby Bauer on November 25, 1996. The blazer features an embroidered HHOF patch sewn onto the left breast pocket along with an "Honored Member" banner underneath. Borje Salming's signed letter of authenticity accompanies this original Hockey Hall of Fame blazer.[red] Addendum: measurements of the jacket are 23 inches from underharm to underharm and 20 inches from shoulder to shoulder.[/red]
