Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction November 2023
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/28/2023
The youngest player in history to receive the honour when he earned the Calder Memorial Trophy as a teenager in 1967, Bobby Orr would see action as a First All-Star Team selection is each season until 1975 – with just his rookie campaign witnessing second seating. Offered here, we present this vintage style NHL All-Star Game jersey that has been signed by the game's all-time greatest defenceman. Made by CCM as part of their "Vintage Hockey" line and displaying “XL” sizing over the inner collar, the jersey is decorated with tackle twill crests and patches over the front, sleeves and verso. Remaining in new-with-tags condition, Orr has signed the reverse number “4” with a silver ink signature that displays without issue. Having had a hologram from Great North Road numbered "105557" affixed to the bottom of the number on the reverse underneath the autograph, a matching COA will accompany the piece.
