A three-time Art Ross Trophy winner during the 1960s, Bobby Hull also led the Black Hawks to the club's first Stanley Cup championship in over 20 years, defeating Gordie Howe and the Detroit Red Wings, in 1961. Hull also won the Hart Memorial and Lady Byng Trophies during the decade, and scored over 50 goals a season four times. This signed stick was used by the Golden Jet during the mid-1960s. A Northland Custom Pro Glass Fused model, “B Hull” appears stamped over the shaft with "9" handwritten, with additional stamps from team supplier Gonzo’s over each side. The original black tape is in place over the blade (one strand missing) and shaved handle/knob, with Hull signing the upper shaft in blue marker (this is modern, not done during the era the stick was used). The blade shows wear to the underside, with marks to the shaft. There is also a tiny chip at the bottom of the toe section of the blade. Hull personally gifted this stick years ago to our consignor, a good friend of his.
