Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/23/2021
A sign of the great relationship and respect between French Canadian and Swedish hockey ethnicities, superstar Anders Hedberg and Bob Guindon exchanged jerseys during their time as teammates in Winnipeg (1975-78), with the offered Quebec Nordiques specimen from the 1973-74 WHA season originally gifted to Hedberg and hailing from his personal collection. Featuring a Tricot Sport Maska label affixed to the collar and measuring-out to roughly a size 48, the vintage durene garment has been styled with a layered tackle twill Nordiques team crest, with “25” sewn to the sleeves and verso along with “Guindon” across the affixed nameplate in single white twill. A signed LOA from Anders Hedberg will accompany.
Exhibiting heavy game-use, there are dark marks over the front and sleeves, with considerable wear to the affixed numbers and team crest including two tears to the reverse “5”. There are also three team repairs present over the lower front.
