Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/27/2018
This personal miniature of the Clarence Campbell Bowl was presented to Bernie Nicholls after the L.A. Kings won the Western Conference title on the way to their first Stanley Cup title in 2012. Nicholls, who scored 70 goals and had 150 points with L.A. in 1988-89, was a Kings consultant when they won the conference final win against Phoenix in five games. "Bernie Nicholls, Los Angeles Kings, 2011-12" is engraved on one side of the lidded bowl that sits atop a 3-inch high, 6-sided wood base, which has the Boffey sticker on its brown felt base. These more recent Campbell Bowl trophies seldom surface; this one is in near-pristine condition and it comes with Bernie Nicholls’ signed LOA.
"Clarence S. Campbell Bowl 1968", the year of the award's inception, is engraved on the other side of the bowl.
