A first team All-American as well as Goaltender of the Year during his time in the ECAC, Ben Scrivens enjoyed four prosperous years at Ken Dryden’s former alma mater Cornell, with his NHL time to include guarding the creases of four teams including Toronto and Montreal. This photo-matched Canadiens jersey was worn by the Spruce Grove native in 2015-16, his only season with the club. A “Goalie Style” label and “58” size tag are affixed to the collar just below an affixed “2”, with NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Styled with the famous and sacred CH team crest, the white V-neck has been accented with “40” in tri-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Scrivens” across the nameplate in single blue twill. The “Away Set 2” jersey exhibits heavy game use, with numerous large dark marks over the upper front and lower right sleeve, with small holes/slits to the left and right of the team crest. There is also a material-backed team repair over the lower right sleeve. The team patch numbered “A04040” sits on the inside hem, while a hologram numbered “GU06725” has been affixed to the second reverse number, with an LOA with both numbers matching to accompany from the Canadiens along with the original illustrated box.
