Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2018

The second-fastest goaltender in history to reach the 300 wins mark, Andy Moog spent 18 seasons in the world’s fastest league, winning an impressive three Stanley Cups along the way. We have a signed and photo-matched Boston Bruins jersey that was worn by the BC native in 1991-92. A Maska Air-Knit label with handwritten “GC” (Goalie Cut) along with a size “52” fly tag grace the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests over the reverse bottom hem. Styled with the famous spoked-B Bruins team crest fully administered in tackle twill, the black V-neck has been accented with yellow sleeve and verso numbers with white trim, with matching alternate crests over each shoulder. The NHL 75th anniversary patch is also present over the right breast, along with a Custom Crafted rubberized crest over the inside hem.
Utilizing both custom-shortened sleeves along with a shortened waist, a few marks are visible over the lower front and sleeves, with some red paint transfer near the left elbow. There is also a small team repair over the lower front striping band, with some light additional paint transfer over the reverse numbers. Moog has signed within the reverse “5” in black marker, and the signature display well with just minimal bleeding. Regarding the aforementioned photo-match, included numeric images have been matched to the black mark on the lower middle of the team crest, and to the extra sewing threads on the interior of the left sleeve’s seam.
