Russian-born player Alexei Semenov was selected by the Edmonton Oilers in the second round, 36th overall, during the 1999 NHL Entry Draft. Alexei played for Edmonton, Florida, and San Jose before returning to Russia to compete in the KHL. The size tag indicates it is a size "58" on the inner collar with an Elite Sportswear tag nearby, and the back of the collar features a "Reebok" patch. The MeiGray patch on the inside hem states "NHL game-worn jersey 2004-2005 season C03627" with the "2005-2006 season patch". According to MeiGray's population report, the jersey is a "Third Set 1" example. Next to the MeiGray patch is the team patch "Edmonton Oilers Set #1 2005/2006". The MeiGray LOA confirms that "this Third Set 1 jersey was worn by #5 Alexei Semenov during the 2005-2006 National Hockey League regular season". The number "5" on the left sleeve has a few minor stains, as well as the front and back hem. The right lower sleeve has a board burn. Accompanied by a MeiGray LOA with the Authentication Program number C03627 matching the one on the jersey.
