Renowned for having one of the hardest shots in the NHL, All-Star defenseman Al Iafrate wore this photo-matched Bruins gamer after he was acquired by Boston late in the 1993-94 season. Iafrate’s black game-worn jersey saw duty throughout his brief tenure in Beantown that saw him play a dozen regular season games and 13 more in the playoffs. Classic Bruins road gamer with CCM and size 54 flag tags in the back of the neck and two team repairs is photo-matched to black marks on the lower left side of the Bruins crest sewn on the front and the black mark on the white stripe at the right elbow. Comes with an LOA.
More matches include loose threads on the numbers on both sleeves that also appear on the included five high resolution digital photos, which will be provided on a CD to the winner.
One team repair is high on the front of the left sleeve to the left of the numbers, and the other is to the left of the nameplate on the back close to the left sleeve seam.
More game wear includes a black mark on the middle of the “3” on the back, a black mark on the bottom left of the “3” on the right sleeve, black marks and reddish-brown stains on the front tail, and board burns on the sleeves.
