Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2016

Patrick Roy, the skinny kid with the white mask who backstopped the Montreal Canadiens to the Stanley Cup following his first season in the NHL, would go on to become the league's all-time winningest goaltender and thus propel his rookie card to most valuable/desirable status among 1986-87 O-Pee-Chee issues. Terrific opportunity to score four Roy rookies here, with all four free of any significant flaws. The naked eye can spot light surface wear on one and a very slightly touched corner on a couple of the others. We're hesitant to predict how professional graders may see them, but they appear to average NM-MT. Big-time was Patrick when it counted the most, his playoff heroics garnering him three Conn Smythe Trophy awards as playoff MVP.
