Edmonton Oilers Auction 2005
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/16/2005
The Detroit Red Wings came on strong in the opening game of the 1987 Campbell Conference Championship. The Oilers conceded Game One then came out ahead over the next four matches to take the series in five games. Direct from the rafters of the Edmonton Coliseum, now Rexall Place, we offer the original Campbell Conference Championship banner, hung to celebrate and commemorate the Edmonton Oilers 1986-87 post-season title. This massive double-sided orange nylon banner measuring approximately 4 by 12 feet, proudly displays the team logo with "NHL Campbell Conference" above and "Champions 86-87" below. All logos, lettering and numbering have been individually applied to this historical one-of-a-kind display. From the archives of the Edmonton Oilers Hockey Club, with accompanying letter of authenticity on team letterhead signed by Oilers General Manager Kevin Lowe.
