Edmonton Oilers Auction 2005
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/16/2005
The Oilers battled Calgary over seven games to get to the Campbell Conference Finals in 1984. This series would not be such a chore and the team swept the Minnesota North Stars in four straight, moving on to a match-up with the Isles in the Stanley Cup Finals. Direct from the rafters of the Edmonton Coliseum, now Rexall Place, we offer the original Campbell Conference Championship banner hung to celebrate and commemorate the Edmonton Oilers 1983-84 post-season title. This massive double-sided orange nylon banner measuring approximately 4 by 12 feet, proudly displays the team logo with "NHL Campbell Conference" above and "Champions 83-84" below. All logos, lettering and numbering have been individually applied to this historical one-of-a-kind display. From the archives of the Edmonton Oilers Hockey Club, with accompanying letter of authenticity on team letterhead signed by Oilers General Manager Kevin Lowe.
