Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/27/2018
The first MLB All-Star Game not taking place on American soil, the 1982 installment of the perennial event was played in Montreal, with the National League taking home the victory led by MVP Dave Concepción. We have a 1982 MLB All-Star Game ring that celebrates the event. Size 9 ½ with an approx. weight of 19 grams, a raised silver maple leaf sits centered over the tableau with inserted zirconia, with “Partie” above and “D’etoiles” below. The left shank has the Montreal All-Star logo with “1982” above in raised numerals, with a full-colour enamel MLB logo with laurel wreath below and “Devault” above on the right. The inner band is stamped "Balfour" and "celestrium" along with a hallmark.
Moderate to heavy wear is present on the ring, with scratches across the outer band and along the sides and edges.
