Immortalized as the greatest international hockey series ever played, the iconic Summit Series in 1972 featured Eastern and Western powerhouses battling for world supremacy. Produced by Ficel Marketing in extremely limited numbers, we have a highly desirable Team Canada Summit Series 35th anniversary card set of 37 (the #4 roster card is missing). Originally issued with 26 of the 38 cards signed, including Henderson, Stapleton, Park, Ellis, Gilbert, Hull, Hadfield, Cournoyer, Cashman, Berenson, Seiling, White, Mikita, Parise, Savard, Redmond, Lapointe, Awrey, Sinden, Dionne, T. Esposito, Martin, Guevremont, Glennie and the Mahovlich brothers, the cards of Gilbert Perreault and Phil Esposito were signed later, for a total of 28 signed cards. The cards have been signed in matching thin black marker, with the majority of the signatures displaying beautifully. The cards themselves exhibit light wear, with a COA from Ficel to accompany.
