Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2020
Perfect for rookie card enthusiasts not requiring tiptop condition is this group and here's how we see the contributors. Off-centered with a slight diamond cut and light vertical scratches or "lines" is a 1970-71 Bobby Clarke RC (VG+), with a few small light surface scratches (upper edge region) and corner dings affecting a Marcel Dionne rookie (VG). Next chronologically are actually second-year cards of Darryl Sittler (EX) and Gilbert Perreault (VG-EX+), followed by '74-75 rookies of Maple Leaf teammates Lanny McDonald (EX-MT) and Borje Salming (VG). From the same issue is a Don Cherry RC (VG), while from the 1980s are the first cardboard appearances of Mark Messier (off-centered, diamond cut, miscut on the back - otherwise EX-MT) and Ray Bourque (VG+), along with a Steve Yzerman RC with nice centering and EX-MT.
