One of hockey's most desirable rookie cards, that picturing Bobby Orr, the teenager from Parry Sound, Ontario who would go on to revolutionize how defencemen played the game, is offered here in alluring condition. Upon its inspection, this example of card #35 received a mark of 7.5 NM+ from KSA, its smooth edges, apparent unblemished surface and vivid original colors among its attributes. Part of the border of another card appears down the right edge, with a light ding to the bottom right corner and light wear at the two left corners also noteworthy. Harry Howell, upon winning the Norris Trophy following the 1966-67 season, was correct in predicting that the young Orr, (the rookie of the year in '66-67), would be the recipient in future years; Bobby won the Norris the next eight seasons! Also never-before-seen and unmatched are Orr's two scoring titles, with other major trophies contributing to his legacy and the sum rendering Orr RCs oh so cherished. A splendid opportunity here is worthy of considerable contemplation, with a couple of light scratches to the KSA holder barely detectable to the naked eye.
*It should be noted that the grading standards followed by KSA may not correspond to those currently employed by PSA, BGS or SGC. The outcome of an attempted cross-over of this piece through any of those services, then, would be uncertain and cannot be guaranteed.
