Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2020

Much more pleasant to look at than low grade 1951-52 Parkhurst sets marred by multiple creases and rounded corners is this assembly, salvaged from a scrapbook and thus low grade due to back damage. Stains are present throughout but very little paper loss, although the upper back of the Terry Sawchuk rookie card is so affected by minor paper loss, with specs of glue residue on the front. Minimal obvious creases are to report, with however multiple light creases observed in the Maurice Richard RC and a small light one in the Gordie Howe rookie, the latter measuring a tad narrow. Cards exhibit a side-to-side curvature from the apparent soaking/drying procedure, but again, attractive lower grade cards await the high bidder and will be acceptable to many. Please see our website for images of the key/star cards - '51-52 Parkie sets are always full of intrigue.
