This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 9/20/2022
Hailing from the years of hockey’s golden era of the Original Six is this grouping of pucks containing examples including the 1942-50 Art Ross NHL Game Pucks (2), 1950-58 Art Ross NHL Game Puck, 1962-64 Art Ross NHL Puck and 1960-65 Monarch Puck. The 1942-50 Art Ross pucks feature their familiar octagon labels on each with one displaying only minor toning and scratching and the other carrying wear and scuffing. The nicer of the two labeled pucks features edges that have been shaved down and has multiple spots with pieces taken out of it on both sides to go along with some surface wear and cuts. The scuffed label counterpart carries surface wear in the form of scratching, small cuts and gashes while still maintaining sharp edges. The 1950-58 puck remains in good condition with the labels on each side being fully legible despite some light crazing being found. One of the sides is more toned and has a black dot within the orange border of its crest. Surface wear on the piece is found on each side in the form of scratching while on the edge a dried liquid stain is found. The 1962-64 slug features a crest that is toned and crazed with scratching present with two cuts to the rubber found above it and a small piece missing at the edge. The reverse side has the same surface wear along with two more pieces missing at its edge. Lastly, the 1960-65 Monarch puck remains in its original box in good condition, displaying only minor wear. The puck itself remains clean and only has light surface scratching.
