Sure to keep our winning bidder occupied for hours on end and establishing a solid vintage sports library, offered here we present this collection of sports publications that dates from the 1930s to the 1960s that pictures period sports kings such as Mickey Mantle, Joe DiMaggio, Ted Williams, Muhammad Ali and Joe Namath over the covers. Headlined by a group of nine (9) Life Magazines that date from June of 1953 to October of 1970, athletes featured include the likes of Roy Campanella (x2 - June 8th, 1953), Willie Mays (April 28th, 1958), Don Drysdale (September 28th, 1962), Cassius Clay (March 6th, 1964), Mickey Mantle (July 30th, 1965), Joe Namath (June 20th, 1969), Jerry Koosman (September 26th, 1969) and Muhammad Ali (October 23rd, 1970). With most remaining in good condition despite their age but also showing handling wear as well as flaws such as creasing, surface wear, edge/corner wear, small tears, toning and stains while remaining complete with most showing residential address labels to make note of as well. For the rest of the collection, dating back to 1939 via a copy of America's Baseball Annual, other publications present include those such as Baseball Magazine, Inside Baseball, Sports World, Baseball Yearbook, Complete Baseball and others while showing the eras stars over the cover including numerous examples of Yankees greats like DiMaggio, Mantle, Marris, and Musial while Jackie Robinson also make an appearance on the included copy of "Baseball's All-Stars" from 1953. Once again, many remain in good condition with handling wear and flaws such as reasing, surface wear, edge/corner wear, small tears, toning and stains being present. Furthermore, all are newsstand copies that don't have an address label affixed to the covers. Lastly, also included is a framed copy of Life Magazine from August 18th, 1961 that pictures Mantle and Maris over the cover with the story pertaining to their individual chase of Babe Ruth's home run record that summer. Housed in a simple black metal frame that shows light wear, the magazine is displayed under a white matte and shows similar wear as to what is listed above along with an address label over the bottom left corner.
