This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2019
A mixed bad of desirable vintage Habs items are available for your consideration, with a 1950s Ideal Jean Beliveau puzzle with box - with the puzzle assembled and wrapped over cardboard, a 1951 Forum calendar, 1948 MLG calendar, a 1960s stock Habs/Leafs hockey poster and a misc. group of postcards totaling 60. The puzzle is complete with no issues, with the original box shrink-wrapped and showing some creasing and minor paper loss, with a split along the top seam visible. The Forum calendar (17” x 24”) is complete with heavy wear, with staining, edge tears, creasing and paper loss, with clear tape over the reverse. The MLG calendar (18 ½” x 28”) is also in low grade with heavy fold lines, toning, creasing and paper loss, with a large tear at the bottom along with a few of the calendar pages missing. The poster is dual-sided on heavy cardboard, with a cartoon image of generic Canadiens and Leafs hockey players, with an image of a water scene over the reverse. At 27” x 37” the lithographed poster is in poor condition with toning, staining, surface wear and creasing, with each of the four corners damaged. The postcards include 16 Steinberg Canadiens examples including Robinson and Houle, 21 miscellaneous Leafs postcards from different years including Vaive and Wregget, 6 random Habs including four vintage black and white examples (Harper, Backstrom) and a pair of Bruins postcards. There is also a set of 11 1976-77 Royal Bank Canucks (4 ¾” x 7 ¼”) including Ridley, with each in beautiful high grade condition. The postcards vary, with most exhibiting just expected handling wear with no major condition issues.
