Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2020
A product of the Shawinigan Cataractes in the Q, Stephane Robidas appeared for four different NHL clubs during his professional career, with the bulk of his time spent with Dallas. This Canadiens jersey was worn by Robidas in the preseason during the late-1990s. Measuring-out to roughly a size 54, a Starter label is affixed to the collar, with embroidered Starter and NHL crests on the back bottom hem. Styled with the most famous team crest in hockey, the red V-neck has been accented with blue-over-white tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Robidas” across the affixed nameplate in single white twill. We should also note evidence of a former shorter nameplate. Exhibiting great use with a few scrapes over the team crest, there are board burns over each sleeve along with resulting holes over the right elbow, with a few fabric pulls also visible. Obtained directly from the Montreal Canadiens, a signed LOA from Rejean Houle will accompany.
