Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/16/2020
Serving as one of the greatest goals in history and routinely compared to both Paul Henderson’s 1972 Summit Series winner and Mario Lemieux’s 1987 Canada Cup marker, Sidney Crosby’s golden goal electrified our hockey-centric nation, and announced to the world at large that this is still our game. Celebrating the famous overtime winner, we have a framed photo signed by Sid the Kid. At 16” x 20” and picturing the victorious Crosby waving the mighty maple leaf, Sidney has signed near his image in blue sharpie, with the autograph presenting beautifully. Triple-matted and framed to full dimensions of 27” x 34”, a pair of holograms has been affixed to the bottom right including from Frameworth, with a matching COA to accompany.
