Earning a trio of Lady Byng trophies during his exceptional HOF career, Ron Francis also made appearances at four different NHL All-Star Games, and is currently number 5 on the NHL’s All-Time Points list. From his time with Pittsburgh, where he enjoyed winning a pair of Stanley Cup championships, we have a Penguins captain’s jersey worn by the Sault Ste. Marie native in 1994-95. A CCM label with handwritten “10” and a size “52” fly tag are affixed to the collar (“94” is handwritten on the reverse of the CCM label), with embroidered CCM and NHL crests on the back bottom hem. Styled with “Pittsburgh” placed across the chest in individual letters, the solid black V-neck has been accented with oversized yellow-over-white tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Francis” across the affixed nameplate in matching material. The collar has also been vented.
Exhibiting moderate game-use, there are a few marks visible over the sleeves along with a few tiny holes, with pilling to the interior and over the white sleeve striping bands.
