Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2019
The twelfth match in its history, the 1958 NHL All-Star Game featured the current Stanley Cup champion Montreal Canadiens doubling-up on a team of NHL All-Stars, 6-3, at the Forum. Originating from the incomparable autograph collection of E. Robert Hamlyn, we have a 1958 All-Star Game program and ticket stub, with this accompanied by a trio of additional Forum programs from 1958-59, along with a pair of Montreal Forum snapshot photos from the 1940s. The 1958 All-Star Game program exhibits just light handling wear, with newspaper clippings of the match glued-in over the score sheet. The additional programs all show light wear, with the date of each game written on the cover and newspaper clippings glued over each score sheet, with the Oct 18 program also having a stub glued-in. The photos are both 3 ¼” x 4 ½” and picture the Forum, with handwritten text over each reverse.
