Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction December 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/13/2022
Reaching back into hallowed antiquity, to the earliest days of the game, we have a replica hockey stick produced as a souvenir for the International Hall of Fame in Kingston that has been signed by 7. 43” in length from the top of the shaft to the heel of the blade, “International Hockey Hall of Fame Kingston, Ontario, Canada” and “Replica of stick used in first hockey game – 1886” is screened to one side of the shaft in white, with the signatures to include HOFers Syl Apps and Harry Sinden, along with Gus Marker, Wally Elmer, Howie Morenz Jr and two others, with “Michael Rodden” also handwritten (not a signature). The majority of the signatures are faded, with light handling wear to the stick, with two pieces of electrical tape applied to the blade and two hooks screwed into the shaft to facilitate hanging.
