Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Fall 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 9/20/2022
The oldest goaltender to see action in a Stanley Cup playoff game, Johnny Bower enjoyed an especially long and successful professional career, and was the first netminder to employ the now commonplace poke check. Featuring The China Wall, we offer a Leafs jersey signed by the deceased HOFer, accompanied by a collection of signed and framed limited-edition photos (4). First, the jersey is a Reebok model with “XL” sizing and tackle twill team crest and reverse number, with Bower signing the reverse number in black marker, adding his HOF induction year (bleeding to the signature). The photos are all different 16” x 20” black and white images set in black frames to slightly larger dimensions, with each signed in blue sharpie, with each numbered #1/1001. Holograms have been affixed to each photo, with COAs to accompany for each (there is some light wear to the frames).
Please note; While all of our frames are thoroughly and safely packaged for shipping, due to the size and/or weight, and dependent upon the shipping company, we should mention that damage may occur in transit. Please note that as such, we are not responsible for any damage to frames that occurs during shipping.
