Currently retaining the 11th spot on the all-time points list with 1,579, Ray Bourque is the NHL’s all-time goals, assists and points leader for defenseman. From the twilight of his remarkable HOF career, when he spent two seasons with the Colorado Avalanche which included his lone Stanley Cup championship, we have a stick used by Ray Bourque during his time in Denver (1999-00 and 2000-01). A Sher-Wood PMPX 9950 model, “Bourque 77” factory graphics appear over the upper shaft, with “Handcrafted Exclusively for Raymond Bourque” on the underside. The original black tape over the blade and white over the shaved handle is in place, with the striping accent intact (there are three black dots handwritten to the base of the handle). Exhibiting light game-use with wear to the underside blade and over the taped handle, Bourque has signed the frontside blade in silver, with the signature presenting beautifully. Hailing from the personal collection of an important hockey executive, his signed LOA will accompany.
