Representing the US at the World Juniors, World Championships and Winter Olympics, Peter Ferraro was selected by the New York Rangers in 1992 and saw action in a total of 92 regular-season NHL contests spread over four different clubs. From his first of three seasons with Providence while a member of the Boston Bruins organization, this Bruins jersey was worn by Ferraro in the late-1990s, most likely in 1998-99 or 1999-00. Matching the design of the parent club Bruins, Bauer labeling with “54” sizing is affixed to the collar, with an AHL crest over the reverse neckline. Styled with a winged-P team crest in layered tackle twill, “17” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in matching material, with a sponsorship crest residing over the right breast. The outline of a former alternate’s “A” over the left breast is also visible. Showing considerable use with numerous puck and stick marks over the front and sleeves, there are a number of burns, scrapes and material pulls over the sleeves, with heavy red paint transfer near the number on the left sleeve.
